The first ones to take advantage of the Maremma’s climate characteristics to cultivate vineyards and produce wine, were the Ethruscans, followed then by the Romans.
The territories property of Santa Beatrice Farm develop into a geological context characterised by the presence of a rocky closter into some sections of the hills and foothills, and from the presence of alluvional lithologies in the areas at the bottom of the. The historical vineyards, that extend in the highest and more sunny parts of the estate, around 8 hectars, are entirely cultivated with Sangiovese grapes. Instead the new vineyards, about 4 hectars, include vines of Viogner, Sirah, Alicante e Petit Manseng, that will start to bear fruit in the upcoming years. The biggest part of the wine production of the company is represented by Maremma Toscana, quality wine with Designation of Origin from the province of Grosseto. S. Beatrice Farm produces wine in 4 variety: White, Rose’, Red and Red from Reserve.
Sangiovese
The red, produced mainly with Sangiovese grapes, has hints of red fruits and is a wine to be enjoyed young, ideal to accompany meat-based first and second courses.

Rosso Riserva
Made in the ancient lands of Etruria in the Tuscan Maremma, this red reserve is produced with the oldest vineyards of the company. A prestigious wine, perfect to accompany meat dishes.

Characteristics: aroma of ripe red fruits and spices; spent two years in wooden barrels

Rosè wine
